*’club [construction]’ is an emerging scenography, visual arts and ephemeral-architecture collective, based in Belfast, N.Ireland, curated by visual artist Reuben Brown. With the representation of emerging (primarily queer) digital-artists on the island of Ireland at the forefront, ‘club [construction]’ was founded at a critical time for cultural-spaces and the digital-arts in Ireland. The collective aims to operate the visual arts as ‘tools’ of generation and activation, through employing experimental, innovative and decentralised approaches such as exhibitions, interactive installations, film-screenings, participatory performances and encounters with space.
